Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong GAAP and financial reporting knowledge.
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements.
• CPA preferred; public-company SEC/SOX experience valued.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
• Proficient Excel and ERP/accounting system usage.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules.
• Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts and variances.
• Assist with financial statements and management reporting.
• Support public-company accounting and reporting requirements.
• Assist with audits and maintain documentation and controls.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, operations, and other teams.
• Identify process improvements for accounting and reporting.
• Assist with technical accounting and special projects as the company grows.
• Support scalable accounting process development and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting
• Assist with technical accounting and special projects as the company continues to grow
• Support the development and implementation of scalable accounting processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation
• CPA certification or public accounting experience preferred
• Public-company, SEC reporting, SOX, or audit experience is highly valued
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Strong Excel skills and experience working with an ERP/accounting system
