Job summary

Mobycap, located in Austin, TX, seeks an experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting, payroll, GAAP reporting, and compliance across multiple data platforms. You will maintain ledgers, prepare financial reports, and support month-end close.

You will use QuickBooks and Salesforce to track deals, commissions, and intercompany transactions while ensuring accuracy and timely deliveries in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Entering, tracking, and reconciling QuickBooks records with Salesforce deal data.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Prepare and issue timely periodic financial reports.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes with accurate financial data.
• Track and process inter-company transactions and journal entries.
• Reconcile payments and commissions in Salesforce.
• Process payroll and manage vendor/contractor payments and invoices.
• Track compensation plans, bonuses, SPIFs, and true-ups.
• Monitor cash flow, deposits, and prepare cash flow reports.
• Manage collections, accounts receivable, and clawback tracking.
• Track and invoice volume bonuses; follow up on outstanding balances.
• Categorize and report expenses, including credit card transactions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Support 401(k) administration and related accounting tasks.
• Utilize QuickBooks for financial management and reporting.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting day-to-day accounting operations, including maintaining daily accounting records, general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, reconciliations, payroll processing, benefits administration and compliance.
