Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3+ years of progressive corporate accounting or public accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial statements, and close process.
• Public accounting experience or CPA progress is a plus but not required.
• Advanced Excel and ERP system experience.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven team player.

Responsibilities

• Lead components of monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.

About the Role

The Senior Corporate Accountant will play an important role in the monthly close, financial reporting, and ongoing improvement of the accounting function. Responsibilities

• Lead key components of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Maintain balance sheet accounts and investigate variances
• Assist with preparation of internal financial reporting and management analyses
• Support cash management, accounts payable, payroll, fixed assets, and intercompany accounting as needed
• Partner with FP&A, operations, and other internal teams to ensure accurate financial information and resolve issues
• Assist with annual audit, tax, and compliance-related requests
• Help improve accounting processes, reporting, internal controls, and documentation
• Participate in special projects and systems initiatives as the company grows
