Job summary

Skydance Games is seeking a Senior Project Manager to partner with our Core Tech engineering team to deliver foundational technology powering our games. This role collaborates with engineering leadership, technical directors, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive planning, execution, and delivery across engine, tools, infrastructure, online services, platform, and other core technology initiatives.

The ideal candidate combines strong PM skills with understanding of software development

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of project management experience supporting engineering‑focused teams.
• 3–5+ years of game development or related software development experience.
• Ability to manage complex technical projects involving multiple stakeholders.
• Strong verbal and written communication with technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Experience presenting project updates, risks, and concepts to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Establish, refine, and scale project management processes with visibility into initiatives, milestones, risks, and dependencies.
• Partner with engineering leaders, producers, and stakeholders to understand roadmaps and priorities for successful delivery.
• Own intake, prioritization, and maintenance of the Core Technology backlog balancing business needs and tech requirements.
• Plan and staff initiatives with Core Technology Engineering Lead, balancing scope, schedule, and complexity.
• Deliver clear project status, roadmaps, and risk assessments to studio leadership and stakeholders.
• Facilitate planning, milestone reviews, dependency management, and cross‑team coordination across multiple tech streams.
• Define goals, success metrics, and delivery criteria for Core Technology initiatives.
• Identify risks and blockers and drive resolution with internal and external stakeholders.
• Champion operational excellence by improving workflows and development processes.
