Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven leadership of architecture for production SaaS platforms.
• Expert in modern JavaScript/TypeScript with backend tech (Node.js, Python, Java, or C#).
• Strong frontend experience with React and modern frontend architecture.
• Cloud-native experience (AWS) and CI/CD practices.
• Security, scalability, reliability, and operability focus.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the technical architecture for a multi-tenant SaaS platform.
• Lead high‑risk, cross‑cutting product and platform initiatives.
• Translate business needs into scalable capabilities and plans.
• Prototype critical paths, contribute production code, and review changes.
• Establish architectural principles, data contracts, and service boundaries.
• Drive modernization while preserving continuity and value delivery.
• Address systemic risks around scalability, performance, and security.
• Guide architecture across video creation, rendering, personalization, and distribution.
• Shape responsible use of generative AI and AI-assisted engineering tools.
• Partner with Product/UX to balance value, speed, and health.
• Improve observability, incident response, and operational resilience.
• Lead architecture reviews and cross‑team alignment for major initiatives.
• Develop shared frameworks, tooling, and standards.
