Job description

Senior Technical Project Manager

About the Role We're looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager to drive the planning and delivery of our product roadmap. You'll sit at the intersection of Product, Engineering, and Customers turning strategic priorities into well-sequenced execution plans, keeping releases on track, and giving leadership clear visibility into progress and risk. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on structure, loves solving cross-team coordination problems, and wants their work to directly shape what ships.

What You'll Do
  • Own end-to-end planning and delivery for major product initiatives, from roadmap intake through release and post-release review.
  • Partner with Product Managers and Engineering Leads to translate roadmap priorities into scoped, sequenced execution plans.
  • Manage sprint/release cadences across multiple engineering pods, ensuring dependencies are identified and resolved early.
  • Run core agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, retros) and continuously tune process to the team's needs.
  • Track and report progress against the roadmap — timelines, scope changes, risks — to engineering leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Work with the customers to ensure we’re meeting the customer timelines.
  • Coordinate cross-functional readiness for releases (QA, Design, Docs, Support, Customer facing teams) so releases land smoothly.
  • Maintain a single source of truth for project status, RAID logs, and release plans.
  • Identify systemic bottlenecks in the delivery pipeline and drive process improvements across Product/Eng.
  • Manage multiple concurrent workstreams without losing sight of the bigger product strategy.
What You'll Bring
  • 6–8 years of technical project/program management experience, ideally within a product company (SaaS or platform business).
  • Strong grasp of Agile/Scrum and modern product development practices; comfortable working directly with engineers on technical tradeoffs.
  • Experience managing roadmap-to-release delivery, not just project execution — you understand product lifecycle, not just task tracking.
  • Skilled with tools like Jira, Linear, Asana, Confluence, or similar.
  • Excellent communicator who can flex between engineering detail and executive-level summaries.
  • Track record of managing multiple concurrent product workstreams in a fast-moving environment.
  • PMP, CSM, or SAFe certification a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) and MBA.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in enterprise SaaS or B2B platform companies.
  • Familiarity with release management, feature flagging, and phased rollout practices.
  • Exposure to customer-facing launches or GA (general availability) processes
