Job summary

The role requires following recipes for regular and therapeutic diets, strong teamwork, and flexibility to rotate shifts at various campus locations under the supervision of the Executive Chef.

Qualifications

• Verbal and written English communication required.
• Experience cooking and following recipes for regular and therapeutic diets.
• Previous cook or related kitchen experience required.
• Customer service skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook foods from recipes for patient meals, retail, and catering.
• Ensure safe sanitation and proper storage of food items.
• Assist with cost control, requisitioning, and inventory management.
• Maintain cleanliness and adhere to policies (JCAHO/UC).
• Work across multiple locations with rotating shifts, including nights/weekends.
