Compass Group USA is seeking a Senior Cook for Point Seven, a coastal-seafood driven restaurant in mid-town Manhattan. Both full-time and part-time positions are available with a fixed pay rate of $24.00 per hour.

Two to three years of cooking experience are required, with HACCP guidelines followed to ensure quality and safety of food. Responsibilities include overseeing cooking activities, preparing entrees, maintaining sanitation and records, and assisting in training staff.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of cooking experience is required.
• Must be able to perform essential duties as outlined in the job description.
• Experience in HACCP or food safety guidelines is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Oversee cooking activities as assigned by Food Service Director.
• Prepare various entrees and menu items following established recipes.
• Operate and clean equipment after use and perform routine cleaning.
• Store, label, and date food items per policy; maintain organized storage.
• Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food.
• Comply with health and sanitation regulations and department procedures.
• Assist in maintaining daily production records and required documentation.
• Assist in cross-training of employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
