Job summary

The Cigna Group is seeking an Application Development Senior Advisor in Chicago, IL to develop and support conversational call flows and IVR applications. You will work within a large transformational program, collaborating across design, business and technology teams to deliver high-quality CAI solutions.

Applicants should have a Master’s degree or a Bachelor’s with substantial experience in Conversational AI/IVR, with hands-on expertise in Genesys, Java, VXML, REST APIs, and microservices.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 3 years of Conversational AI/IVR development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience accepted.
• Experience with Genesys, Java with VXML, and integration to backends; proficiency in Jira, Cyara, Confluence, and testing tools.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a large transformational program team enabling multiple lines of business.
• Enable personalized customer experiences in voice, text, chat channels and drive advanced capabilities.
• Build, configure and implement CAI applications; design multimedia UX.
• Provide effort estimates with Solution Architect and Technical Delivery Lead.
• Identify and address issues affecting application integrity and release readiness.
• Collaborate with design, business and technology partners; perform development and testing; maintain quality code.
