Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for our distribution center to ensure reliable operation of facility equipment and MHE. You will lead preventive maintenance planning, diagnose equipment issues, and coordinate repairs with vendors.

The role requires a strong electrical background, CAD proficiency, and the ability to manage spare parts within a CMMS. Responsibilities include supervising Maintenance Support Specialists, developing cost analyses, and bidding for contracts while supporting

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of related maintenance experience.
• Strong electrical background preferred.
• Experience developing preventive maintenance programs.
• Knowledge of diesel powered back-up generators, fire pumps, AHUs and RTUs.

Responsibilities

• Ensures effective preventive maintenance plans and schedules for all facility equipment and systems.
• Diagnoses MHE-related error conditions and repairs.
• Oversees maintenance, modifications, and upgrades of MHE.
• Manages spare parts inventory in CMMS.
• Coordinates downtime resolutions with outside vendors.
• Develops bids for maintenance, janitorial, snow removal, and other contracts.
• Supervises Maintenance Support Specialists.
• Responds to downtime events during on-call shifts.
