Job summary

Marvin is hiring a Custom Equipment Programming Group (CEPG) Controls Team Supervisor to guide the Controls Technicians while continuing hands-on controls work. You’ll mentor and coordinate projects with SCADA, database systems, and PLCs to integrate automated manufacturing equipment.

The ideal candidate brings strong controls troubleshooting, collaborative leadership, and the ability to manage projects to deadlines while empowering team members to own their work.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience in a manufacturing setting.
• 1–2 years of related experience or training.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Project management skills with ability to meet timelines.
• Strong, proactive communication, training and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction for the Controls group while continuing to execute controls work.
• Lead, mentor, and coordinate Controls Technicians and projects.
• Collaborate with SCADA, database systems, and PLC specialists.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment and control-system issues; implement preventive measures.
• Manage projects and timelines with end-to-end accountability.
• Liaise with vendors to ensure equipment and wiring meet Marvin specifications.
