Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Eight years of experience in application engineering.
• Experience in HVAC industry and programming controls.
• Experience supervising a technical/engineering group.
• Five years of progressive responsibility in construction.
• Expertise in core engineering competencies.
• Understanding of accounting principles and cost management.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, especially presenting technical material.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of engineers in hardware, software, and network commissioning for projects.
• Ensure compliance with state, local, and federal requirements and uphold high ethical standards.
• Develop cost‑effective engineering processes to deliver consistent quality and customer satisfaction.
• Serve as an expert in application engineering for major projects and branch teams.
• Manage and schedule workload of the Systems Engineering Team for timely completion.
• Provide time‑frame estimates for project management and develop cost estimates.
• Develop and maintain team processes, standards, and strategies.
• Seek improvements in processes, facilities, tools, and equipment to boost quality and productivity.
• Provide advanced technical support and act as regional expert in application engineering.
• Select controllers and devices meeting specs while minimizing installation costs.
• Use reports to evaluate team performance and cost management.
• Maintain relationships with customers, consultants, and architects.
