Job summary
Thermo Systems is seeking an experienced Control Systems Project Engineer to lead multiple projects, mentor teams, and drive successful startup, commissioning, and field execution. You will apply HMI/PLC expertise, interpret diagrams, and ensure QMS compliance while shaping IT and network designs for complex control system integration.
You will also craft robust design documents, optimize specifications for cost efficiency, and collaborate with customers to meet evolving needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with relevant technical experience.
- Typically 10+ years total experience.
- Proven track record: 3+ years as Control Systems Project Engineer II or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and mentor co-workers during start-up and commissioning of systems.
- Independently design complex control systems and provide instrumentation specifications.
- Lead detailed design of IT systems, network infrastructure, and computer system designs for control system integration.
- Value engineer specifications to provide cost-effective solutions.
- Author complex design documents.
