Job summary

Thermo Systems is seeking a Control Systems Project Engineer to lead and mentor teams on diverse control system projects. You will supervise start-up, commissioning, and customer-facing activities while ensuring high-quality execution.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years of engineering experience, including 3+ years as a project engineer, and a strong background in HMI/PLC development, P&ID interpretation, and IT/network components related to control systems. Omaha-based role with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with relevant experience.
• 7+ years of total engineering experience.
• 3+ years as Control Systems Project Engineer I or equivalent with proven track record.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and mentor co-workers during start-up and commissioning of systems.
• Read and interpret piping & instrumentation diagrams and wiring diagrams.
• Develop and edit HMI and PLC applications.
• Ensure adherence to the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
• Lead design of IT systems and network infrastructure related to control system integration.
