Thermo Systems is seeking an experienced Control Systems Project Engineer I to lead start-up, commissioning, and design activities. You will mentor teammates, interpret complex diagrams, and develop HMI/PLC solutions for critical projects.

The role emphasizes rigorous project delivery, client interaction, and adherence to QMS while supporting IT/network considerations for control systems integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering with technical experience.
• Minimum 7+ years total experience in engineering/delivery.
• 3+ years as a Control Systems Project Engineer I or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead start-up and commissioning activities with mentoring.
• Interpret piping & instrumentation diagrams and wiring diagrams.
• Develop and edit HMI and PLC applications.
• Ensure compliance with the company Quality Management System (QMS).
• Deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
• Serve as main customer contact on assigned projects.
• Identify scope changes and manage invoicing procedures.
