Job summary

Auria is a leading global supplier of engineered systems for automotive flooring, acoustical, thermal and other fiber-based solutions. We are seeking a Sr Controls Engineer to join our North America Corporate Engineering Group across US plants with up to 50% travel.

You will design and optimize controls systems, integrate PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens), and collaborate with OEMs to meet safety and performance standards while mentoring others.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience as a Controls Engineer.
• Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC/HMI systems.
• Industrial protocols such as Ethernet, Profibus, RS-232, DeviceNet, and DH+.

Responsibilities

• Design and improve controls systems including PLCs, robotics, and vision.
• Integrate networked solutions for remote access and data storage.
• Ensure new equipment meets Auria safety and controls standards.
• Coordinate with management and maintenance on upgrades.
• Mentor plant controls engineers as needed.
