Job summary

Auria is seeking a Sr Controls Engineer to join our North America Corporate Engineering Group. This role can be located at any Auria plant in the United States with up to 50% travel to North America plants.

You will design and maintain controls systems, integrate networking and traceability, and ensure safety standards. Collaboration across management, maintenance, and OEMs is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience as a Controls Engineer.
• Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC/HMI systems.
• Proficiency with industrial protocols such as Ethernet, Profibus, RS-232, Devicenet, DH+.

Responsibilities

• Design, update, and improve controls systems including robotics, PLC logic, electrical distribution, motor and motion controls, interfaces, hydraulics and pneumatics, and vision systems.
• Integrate machine and plant networking for remote access, monitoring, data storage, and traceability.
• Ensure new equipment meets Auria and national/local safety and controls standards in collaboration with OEMs.
• Coordinate with all levels of management, maintenance, and engineering to implement upgrades effectively.
• Mentor and train plant controls engineers; manage project timelines and costs.
