Job summary
Auria is seeking a Sr Controls Engineer to join our North America Corporate Engineering Group. This role can be located at any Auria plant in the United States and will be based on the successful candidate's location.
The position will require up to 50% travel to North American plants. You will design and optimize controls systems, integrating Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs, robotics, and networking to support safe, efficient production across our automotive flooring and related fiber-based
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5–7 years of experience as a Controls Engineer.
- Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC/HMI systems.
- Industrial protocols such as Ethernet, Profibus, RS-232, Devicenet, DH+.
Responsibilities
- Design, update, and improve controls systems including robotics and PLC logic.
- Integrate machine and plant networking for remote access and data storage.
- Work with OEMs to ensure equipment meets safety and controls standards.
- Code and integrate barcode reading and OCR systems.
- Mentor plant controls engineers and manage project timelines and costs.
