Job summary

Auria is a leading global supplier of highly-engineered systems for automotive flooring, acoustical, thermal, aerodynamic and other fiber-based solutions. The Sr Controls Engineer will join our North America Corporate Engineering Group, location flexible among US plants with travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities include designing and upgrading controls systems, integrating networking, mentoring staff, and ensuring safety and compliance across facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience as a Controls Engineer.
• Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC/HMI systems.
• Industrial protocols such as Ethernet, Profibus, RS-232, DeviceNet, DH+.

Responsibilities

• Design, update, and improve controls systems including robotics and PLC logic.
• Integrate machine networking for remote access and data storage.
• Ensure equipment and upgrades meet safety and controls standards.
• Coordinate with management, engineering, and maintenance teams.
• Mentor plant controls engineers and train staff.
• Travel to North America Plants up to 50%.
