Job summary
Auria is seeking a Sr Controls Engineer to join our North America Corporate Engineering Group. This role can be located at any Auria plant in the United States and includes up to 50% travel to North America Plants.
You will design and optimize controls systems, including PLCs from Allen-Bradley and Siemens, robotics, HMI, and networking to enable remote access, monitoring, and traceability. Strong collaboration with plant and corporate teams is essential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required or preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in controls engineering or related role.
- Experience with Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs/HMI systems.
- Knowledge of industrial networks and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Design, update, and optimize controls systems including robotics and PLC logic.
- Integrate machine and plant networking for remote access, monitoring, and traceability.
- Collaborate with OEMs and plant teams to ensure safety and standards compliance.
- Mentor junior engineers and manage project timelines and costs.
