Job summary

Barrette Workforce Solutions, LLC is seeking a Controls Engineer for its southwest Atlanta metro facility. The role focuses on troubleshooting, programming, and integrating automation systems in an Allen Bradley PLC environment.

Qualifications

Four years of technical education or degree, or two years of technical education with related work experience.
Prefer at least 5 years as a controls engineer, but will consider at least 2 years as a controls engineer.

Responsibilities

Maintain relationships with Maintenance, Toolroom, Manufacturing Engineering, Technology Team, and Production.
Troubleshoot electrical faults on equipment from 24V to 480V circuits and implement corrective actions.
Support projects with controls engineering expertise: design, PLC/HMI programming, commissioning, troubleshooting.
Lead projects, coordinating activities, timelines, and requirements with internal and external stakeholders.
Create and maintain technical reports including FAT, alterations, energy and process optimization.
Maintain compliance with OHSA and internal EHS safety standards.
