Job summary

General Mills in Cincinnati, OH is hiring a Senior Controls Engineer II to provide technical leadership for electrical, controls, and information systems that support safe, reliable manufacturing.

You will serve as the plant subject-matter expert for automated control systems and collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, R&D, vendors, and controls technicians to improve equipment performance and uptime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Controls, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years in manufacturing/industrial controls engineering.
• Experience with plant manufacturing systems and cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of NEC/NFPA 70E and General Mills standards.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain plant electrical and controls architecture.
• Lead electrical and controls capital projects from feasibility to handoff.
• Provide technical leadership for control-system integration and troubleshooting.
• Develop and implement standards for instrumentation, networking, and data.
