Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial controls development; manufacturing environment preferred.
• Proficient in PLC programming with multiple platforms; HMI knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and troubleshoot control algorithms and machine-based software systems.
• Develop and maintain programs for machine operation, data collection, diagnostics, and peripheral communication.
• Collaborate with sales, service, and engineering teams to define technical specifications.
• Support machine checkout, installation, and commissioning with control system documentation.
• Interface with customers to resolve software issues and ensure system meets expectations.
• Produce operation manuals, diagnostic guides, and technical documentation.
• Stay current with evolving control architectures and mentor junior engineers.
