Ridgemont Resources, Inc. is seeking a Controls Engineer II to own the full lifecycle of custom automation and process control systems. You will design, program, integrate, and commission systems while adhering to safety standards.

Strong Rockwell experience and AutoCAD Electrical are required, with travel up to 15% domestically and internationally. The role offers a competitive salary, quarterly bonus, and a 12% 401(k) match, with opportunities to lead cross-functional projects and mentor

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years designing, building, and programming automation systems.
• Experience with NEC, NFPA 79, and RIA TR R15.06.
• Proficiency with Rockwell/AB platforms; others are a plus.
• Proficient AutoCAD Electrical usage.
• Robot programming experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% domestically and internationally.

Responsabilités

• Design and program machine control software architectures.
• Integrate robotics, vision systems, and drives into control logic.
• Configure network interfaces (DeviceNet, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Profinet).
• Create electrical panel schematics and BOMs using AutoCAD Electrical.
• Develop robot paths and offline programming for deployment.
• Lead standards, review specs, and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate commissioning, on-site startup, and client handover.
• Mentor junior controls engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
