Job summary

Client Growth Resources, Inc. seeks a Controls Engineer II to own the full engineering lifecycle for custom automation and process control systems. You will drive projects from inception through validation, programming, system integration, debugging, and on-site commissioning.

Requires deep electrical design and software architecture skills, adherence to safety protocols, and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams. Travel up to 15% domestically and internationally is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years designing, building, and programming custom automation systems.
• Experience with NEC, NFPA 79, and RIA TR R15.06.
• Experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley platforms (Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View).

Responsibilities

• Develop control architectures using PLCs and HMIs for machine control.
• Integrate robotics, vision systems, and drives into control logic.
• Design electrical panels and BOMs with AutoCAD Electrical.
• Lead commissioning and on-site startup at customer facilities.
• Mentor junior controls engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
