Job summary

Hargrove & Associates Inc. is seeking an experienced Controls & Automation Engineer to lead design and integration on complex projects.

You will mentor junior staff, develop control system architectures, and ensure adherence to ISA S88 and IEC 61131 standards while coordinating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in industrial controls, PE preferred, and a track record of delivering on schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant industrial experience in controls and automation engineering.
• Strong knowledge of ISA S88, IEC 61131, and OSHA 1910.119 standards.
• Ability to lead small teams and deliver on commitments.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead control system architecture and BOM generation.
• Develop installation specifications and on-site startup support.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with multi-discipline teams.
• Estimate tasks, schedules, and man-hours for projects.
• Review vendor drawings and ensure conformance to specs.
