Job summary

Hargrove Controls + Automation, LLC is seeking an engineer to perform routine design tasks for DCS/PLC/HMI/SIS systems and to assist with larger automation projects. On-site startup support and field data collection are part of the role, with guidance provided to junior staff.

The ideal candidate has a background in chemical/electrical/computer engineering, EIT certification, and 1+ year of industrial experience. PE is preferred and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Engineering required.
• EIT registration required; PE preferred if eligible.
• Minimum 1 year of industrial controls experience.

Responsibilities

• Design control systems and provide on-site startup support.
• Guide less experienced engineers and coordinate with teams.
• Produce installation specifications and cost studies.
• Review vendor drawings for controls input and verify I/O troubleshooting.
• GATHER field data and interpret PFDs/P&IDs for installations.
