Job summary

LHH seeks an experienced Controller to lead accounting and finance operations for a high-volume organization. Reporting to the CEO, you will oversee financial reporting, cash management, budgeting, and internal controls while guiding a team in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting skills, business judgment, and the ability to provide strategic financial insight to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including controller-level leadership.
• Strong knowledge of the full accounting cycle, financial close, budgeting, and tax coordination.
• Experience with inventory/cost accounting, landed costs, and gross-margin analysis.
• CPA and/or MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, targeting a 7–10 day close.
• Ensure GAAP and tax-basis financial statements and reconciliations are accurate.
• Prepare monthly management reporting comparing actuals to budget/forecast.
• Analyze revenue, COGS, margins, freight, rebates, credits, and other key drivers.
• Provide financial insights to executive leadership and improve internal controls.
