Job summary

Gatewood Wealth Solutions is seeking an experienced accounting leader to own the full accounting cycle across multiple entities using QuickBooks Online. You will maintain clean chart of accounts, ensure GAAP compliance, and coordinate with external tax and audit partners.

You will produce monthly consolidated and stand-alone financials, build insightful Excel reports and KPI dashboards, and lead the annual budget and rolling forecasts. Strong communication with leadership and board is essential.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years progressive accounting experience in controller/manager roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• Advanced QuickBooks Online proficiency across multi-entity setups.
• Advanced Excel skills with formulas, lookups, pivot tables and scenario modeling.
• Experience consolidating financials across multiple entities.
• Track record of budgeting, forecasting and resource decision support.
• Strong written and verbal communication; translate financial detail for leadership.
• High attention to detail and monthly/ quarterly deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Own full accounting cycle in QuickBooks Online for all entities.
• Maintain audit-ready chart of accounts and policies across entities.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and coordinate with tax/audit partners.
• Produce monthly consolidated financial statements and stand-alone reports.
• Build Excel-based reporting and KPI dashboards.
• Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecasts enterprise-wide.
• Manage AR/AP, intercompany activity, and close processes.
• Partner with leadership on ROI analyses for investments.
• Prepare board materials and leadership reporting.
• Improve close processes and internal controls.
