Job summary

XRHealth INC in Boston is seeking an experienced accountant to own day-to-day accounting for XR USA, collaborating with the RCM team to manage cash flow and close the books each month. You will handle cash inflows/outflows, vendor bills, bank reconciliations, payroll accruals in Rippling, state filings, and tax reporting, ensuring the general ledger is accurate and closes are timely.

This role requires 3–5 years of full-cycle accounting and multi-entity experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
• Three to five years of full-cycle accounting experience including accounts payable and month-end close.
• Experience working in a multi-entity environment and keeping entities cleanly separated.
• Comfort in Ramp and Rippling, or a demonstrated ability to pick up finance systems quickly.
• Strong Excel, strong attention to detail, and the discipline to hit a close calendar every month.
• Healthcare or clinical services billing exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily cash activity, apply receipts, prepare payment runs, and keep cash coded correctly.
• Process vendor bills, code to right accounts, route approvals, manage payables aging, and support with receipts.
• Reconcile all bank accounts monthly, address exceptions, respond to fraud alerts, and manage access requests.
• Record and reconcile payroll expense, employer taxes, benefits, and accruals to the general ledger; HR processes payroll.
• Maintain the entity's state filings, annual reports, and filing calendar.
• Prepare workpapers, fixed asset/depreciation schedules, and 1099s; assemble tax package for outside firm.
