Job summary

FinanceWithin is seeking a seasoned Controller to lead a pod of accounting managers and bookkeepers for multiple client engagements in the US. You will ensure timely weekly and monthly financial reporting, quality control, and strategic advisory across an e-commerce and CPG client base.

You will drive SOPs, automation, and AI-enabled processes while mentoring a remote team. A Bachelor's in Accounting and 7+ years in full-cycle accounting are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting.
• 2+ years in a multi-client or consulting role.
• 2+ years leading a team.
• BA in Accounting is required.
• Advanced Excel and QBO expertise.
• Experience with NetSuite/Xero is valued.
• Experience serving e-commerce clients required.
• Solid GAAP knowledge and accounting best practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end close and key accounting activities for a pod.
• Review financial packages and key metrics for clients.
• Ensure proper reconciliations across balance sheet accounts.
• Review inventory, AP/AR, and payroll processing for clients.
• Provide ad hoc reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
• Educate clients on financials and act as strategic advisor.
• Lead training, SOP development, and automation efforts.
