The ideal candidate combines strong accounting and cost accounting expertise with the ability to create scalable processes, deliver actionable business insights, and support strategic decision‑making. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the relationship with the company's outsourced accounting provider and ensure accurate execution of day‑to‑day accounting activities.
• Oversee month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly consolidated financial statements for multiple business units and operating locations.
• Develop and distribute monthly management reporting packages for executive leadership.
• Analyze financial and operational results, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Present financial performance, key business drivers, and strategic insights to the CEO and leadership team.

Budgeting, Forecasting & KPI Development

• Lead the annual budgeting process across the organization.
• Develop rolling forecasts and long‑range financial planning models.
• Create and maintain KPIs that measure financial and operational performance.

Cost Accounting & Operational Finance

• Develop and maintain cost accounting methodologies that accurately measure operational performance and profitability.
• Analyze labor, fulfillment, warehousing, transportation, and freight costs.
• Create reporting that measures profitability by location, business unit, and service offering.

Process Development & Scalability

• Design and implement scalable processes to support geographic expansion.
• Standardize financial reporting and metrics across multiple locations and business units.
• Improve workflows, internal controls, and reporting processes.
