Directive Consulting is a fast-growing, remote-first B2B performance marketing agency. We’re seeking a Controller to shape our finance function, oversee accounting operations, lead financial reporting, and drive automation to fuel growth.

Reporting to Head of Finance, you’ll manage month-end closes, revenue recognition, GL integrity, and payroll support, while mentoring staff and collaborating with leaders to improve processes. 5+ years in accounting required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting.
• 5+ years of accounting experience in service-based company.
• GAAP accounting knowledge and monthly closing experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee AP/AR and cash management.
• Own revenue recognition and related reporting.
• Maintain general ledger integrity and month/quarter-end close.
• Lead preparation of financial statements and variance analysis.
• Supervise filings (1099s, registrations, taxes).
• Support payroll processing and vendor relations.
