Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking a Controller to lead accounting for the Hydronics portfolio across Weil-McLain, Patterson-Kelley, Sigma-Omega, and related sites. You will own the close process, financial reporting, and internal controls under U.S. GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley.

You will develop the accounting team, partner with FP&A and operations, and provide insights to support strategic decisions, working in a dynamic, multi-site manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including leadership roles.
• 10+ years of multi-site manufacturing accounting experience and strong cost/variance knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SOX, internal controls, and audits within a large organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close and consolidation across multiple entities.
• Ensure GAAP compliance, internal controls, and timely financial reporting.
• Oversee working capital, receivables, inventory, payables, and cash flow.
• Manage rebates, sales commissions, warranty reserves, and cost visibility across sites.
• Develop accounting talent and drive process improvements across the organization.
