Job summary

Watts Water Technologies is seeking a seasoned Controller to lead finance and accounting for its manufacturing operations in Hutchinson, Kansas. The role partners with plant leadership to drive performance, implement strong controls, and support strategic decisions.

You will supervise the finance team, drive cost management, budgeting, and forecasting, and collaborate with corporate controllership and auditors to ensure regulatory compliance and accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 10+ years in finance/controllership in large manufacturing, including public company experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience with SOX 404 and internal control frameworks.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, SUMIFS).

Responsibilities

• Oversee finance and accounting for plant operations and corporate goals.
• Maintain internal controls and compliance processes; ensure SOX readiness.
• Provide forecasts, analyses, and reporting for executive decisions.
• Collaborate with leadership on pricing, investments, and cost management.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes.
• Ensure statutory reporting and regulatory compliance; manage audits.
