Job summary

AssetWatch is seeking a Controller to lead and scale the company’s full accounting function amid rapid growth. You will partner with the CFO and executive team to bring rigor, foresight, and operational excellence to every financial decision.

This remote-first role is based in the United States and will oversee accounting across multiple entities, currencies, and jurisdictions, including Canada. You will drive internal controls, revenue recognition, and international tax compliance while shaping

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA required.
• 12+ years of progressive accounting and financial management experience in tech, software, SaaS, or HaaS.
• Demonstrated leadership of accounting functions in high-growth, venture- or PE-backed environments.
• Deep expertise in ASC 606 revenue recognition for SaaS/usage-based models.
• Experience managing multi-entity consolidations and multi-currency accounting.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting and ensure scalable processes across multi-entity, multi-currency setup.
• Ensure GAAP reporting and end-to-end external audits.
• Build internal controls and audit readiness across organization.
• Collaborate with CFO and executive team to translate financial data into strategic insights.
• Oversee tax planning and compliance domestically and internationally.
