staffish is seeking an experienced Controller who will lead accounting operations and build a financial foundation for a fast-growing connected hardware company. The role involves overseeing day-to-day accounting, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Accounting, has a CPA, and possesses 8–12 years of progressive experience. This position offers competitive salary and extensive benefits, including health coverage and unlimited PTO.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP; IFRS experience is a plus.
• Experience in consumer products or startup environments is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations.
• Own financial close process ensuring timely reporting.
• Prepare financial statements for stakeholders.
• Manage external audits and compliance requirements.
• Mentor and manage an accounting team.
• Analyze cost of goods sold (COGS) and product margins.
