Job summary

AssetWatch, Inc. seeks a Senior Tax Manager to establish and lead the company’s tax and compliance function as it scales globally. This is a newly created role focused on ownership of tax and compliance across multiple jurisdictions, working with external advisors to mitigate risk.

The position reports to Accounting leadership and is located in the United States, with collaboration across the US, Canada, and future markets as the company expands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or a related field.
• 7–10+ years of progressive tax and compliance experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and local tax compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own and oversee U.S. federal, state, and local tax compliance activities.
• Manage sales and use tax compliance, registrations, filings, and reporting.
• Oversee tax compliance for the Canadian subsidiary with external advisors.
• Coordinate tax provision support and annual filings with external firms.
• Develop tax compliance calendars and governance processes.
