Job summary

XpertDox, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Controller to own the accounting function from monthly close through GAAP financial statements.

You will manage payable/receivable, payroll, intercompany consolidation with India, and audits, reporting to the CEO and fractional CFO in a fast-growing healthcare AI company. This on-site role in Scottsdale requires relocation, with full-time hours Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and a competitive benefits package including stock options and relocation

Qualifications

• Active CPA license is required.
• Five or more years of accounting experience.
• Proven ownership of the monthly close and GAAP statements.
• Experience consolidating multiple entities including a foreign subsidiary.
• Hands-on use of QuickBooks, not supervision of others.
• Ability to work independently with no accounting staff.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close from journal entries to GAAP financial statements.
• Maintain chart of accounts and general ledger in QuickBooks.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor setup and collections.
• Run payroll and handle payroll tax filings and reconciliations.
• Coordinate intercompany accounting with India and prepare consolidated statements.
• Oversee annual audit and tax filings with external accountants.
• Manage state registrations and other recurring filings.
• Maintain internal controls and month-end schedules.
• Deliver monthly financial reporting to CEO and fractional CFO.
