PartsBase is seeking an accomplished Controller to serve as the company's senior technical authority in accounting, financial reporting, tax, and audit. This is a hands-on, player-coach role: the Controller will supervise the accounting team, own the core accounting, reporting, and tax deliverables, and partner directly with executive leadership.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of progressive accounting and tax expertise, a CPA, and a forward-looking view on AI-enabled finance.

Qualificações

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with close ownership and external reporting.
• CPA license required; deep tax, audit, and GAAP knowledge.
• Experience guiding AI/automation initiatives in finance.

Responsabilidades

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Lead tax provision under ASC 740 and review external tax returns.
• Build audit readiness and liaise with external auditors.
• Own revenue recognition under ASC 606 for SaaS and related streams.
• Oversee multi-entity consolidation and intercompany eliminations.
• Drive ERP implementation and automation projects with IT and finance.
