Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Control Technician 4 to fabricate and commission control panels and field instrumentation. The role involves troubleshooting, calibration, and documentation of panels, with responsible use and care of shop tools.

You will read work orders, wire lists, and diagrams, install, test, and document control circuits, PLCs, and related components, ensuring quality and safety in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret control circuits, schematics, and line diagrams.
• Ability to read and prepare a BOM from specs per NEC/UL508A.
• Experience fabricating control panels and wiring PLCs and VFDs.
• Capable of troubleshooting and repairing industrial control circuits.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, install, and commission control panels and field instrumentation.
• Follow work orders, diagrams, and wire lists to assemble components.
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees.
• Adhere to company procedures for ordering, storing, receiving, and returning materials.
• Ensure work meets schedule and quality goals.
