Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Control Technician 4 to fabricate control panels, install and commission field instrumentation, and troubleshoot equipment. You will test and document panel outcomes, update drawings, and care for shop tools and meters used across projects.

The role requires interpreting control circuits, BOM preparation from specs, installing components, and performing wiring tests per NEC/UL standards, with responsibilities across multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• Must obtain CPR and First Aid certification within six months of hire.
• Pass a background investigation and drug test.
• 7+ years of experience with a High School Diploma / GED.

Responsibilities

• Follow work orders, diagrams, and wire lists to determine materials and sequence.
• Perform sheet metal work, wiring, painting, and welding.
• Provide on‑the‑job training to new employees.
• Follow procedures for ordering, storing, receiving, and returning materials and tools.
• Ensure work meets schedule and quality goals.
