Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Control Technician 4 to fabricate control panels, install and commission field instrumentation, troubleshoot and calibrate equipment, and document finished panels.

You will follow work orders, perform sheet metal and electrical assembly, train new staff, and ensure on-schedule delivery while maintaining safety and quality across industrial automation projects.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience in control panel fabrication and field quality.
• Knowledge of NEC and UL508A standards for panel work.
• Experience with Building Automation Systems and DDC networks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire control panels according to work orders and diagrams.
• Fabricate and install sheets metal components and perform painting/welding.
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees.
• Follow procedures for ordering, storing, and returning materials and tools.
• Ensure work meets schedule and quality goals.
