Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a skilled Control Technician 4 to fabricate control panels, install and commission field equipment, and calibrate instruments to exact specs.

You will document work and update drawings as needed, while upholding safety and quality standards on site. Applicants should have at least 7 years of shop experience with a high school diploma or GED, strong knowledge of NEC/UL508A, and proven ability to read schematics, BOMs, and control diagrams.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in a shop environment with a high school diploma or GED.
• Read and interpret control circuits, schematics, and various diagrams.
• Able to size circuit breakers and fuses per NEC/standards.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate control panels, including design, layout and component installation.
• Install, wire, and test wiring of PLCs, VFDs, and other solid state components.
• Commission and document completed control panels or circuits as necessary.
• Troubleshoot and calibrate field instruments and control panels.
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees.
