Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Control Technician 1 for on-site fabrication of control panels, field installation, and commissioning procedures. You will troubleshoot and calibrate field instruments, test equipment, and update drawings, following instructions and safety practices.

Requires HS Diploma/GED with electrical/control experience, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and capacity to work at heights. Tools include power tools, drills, saws, and hydraulic equipment; basic computer skills are expected.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED with at least 1 year of experience in a job shop environment and minimum of 1 year of electrical/control experience.
• Various power tools including drills, saws, punch sets utilizing corded, cordless, and hydraulic methods. Intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Following verbal instructions and reading instructions such as work orders, diagrams, and wire lists to determine materials needed and sequence of assembly.
• Communication and basic organizational skills.
• Performing panel build, panel mounting, panel penetrations, wiring, and cosmetic repairs.
• Ability to safely use and maintain hand and power tools.
• Understanding and following company procedures and policies.
• Understanding and observing safety practices and procedures for various types of industrial manufacturing processes.
