Job summary

SAIC is seeking a highly experienced Project Analyst in Chantilly, VA to drive contract development, award activities, and post-award management for mission-critical national defense programs.

You will develop acquisitions plans, lead source selections, and ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS while coordinating with DoD/IC stakeholders. A TS/SCI clearance is required and occasional travel is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years experience or Master’s with 8+ years experience.
• Experience with DoD/IC contracting and sources selections.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and acquisition policy.
• Experience in space launch contracting and launch services procurement.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced government/contractor environment.
• TS/SCI clearance required; SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete contract packages with requirements validation, funding coordination, and acquisition strategy alignment.
• Develop and maintain pre-award documents (Acquisition Plans, J&As, Source Selection Plans, RFPs).
• Support contract awards/modifications, ensure accurate clauses, pricing, schedules, and deliverables.
• Conduct cost/price analyses, evaluate proposals, support negotiation positions, and participate in negotiations.
• Manage post-award contract administration including invoices, scheduling, and performance tracking.
• Maintain contract documentation and ensure timely deliverables and actions.
• Interface with program management, budget, and legal to ensure compliant execution.
• Monitor FAR/DFARS policy changes and ensure compliance.
