Job summary

SAIC is seeking a collaborative and visionary Senior Technical Program Lead in Chantilly, VA to provide technical oversight and strategic alignment for a globally significant design and construction program.

This senior advisory role supports the PMO, coordinating engineering, design, construction, and other technical teams, while engaging government partners and stakeholders. An active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field; 15+ years of related experience.
• Master’s degree; 13+ years experience; PhD or JD; 10+ years experience.
• 10+ years of experience in senior-level technical or operational roles supporting large-scale, multidisciplinary programs.
• Technical expertise across design, engineering, and construction disciplines; ability to consult on complex challenges.
• Strong ability to manage competing demands and align with overarching objectives; excellent communication with leadership and government partners.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior technical advisor to address complex design, engineering, and construction challenges.
• Oversee risks, align objectives, and deliver concise progress reporting to key stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams and balance competing demands to maintain program health.
• Promote leading practices and innovation across technical teams.
• Mentor team members and support potential supervisory responsibilities.
