Job summary

Certes Networks, Inc. in the Pittsburgh area is seeking a highly organized professional to own contract administration and a broad range of business operations responsibilities. You will coordinate contracts, outside counsel, export compliance, and cloud/business operations across the organization.

This full-time hybrid role requires reviewing agreements, managing workflows, escalations, and ensuring compliance while partnering with leadership and external advisors during a structured transition.

Qualifications

• Approximately 7-10+ years of experience in contracts, legal operations, compliance, or business operations.
• Experience reviewing and administering commercial agreements with internal owners and external counsel.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to escalate issues to legal or executive leadership when needed.
• Willingness to learn new regulatory and operational areas and assume process ownership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across Sales, Finance, Engineering and executives.
• Experience in a small to mid-sized organization with cross-functional responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the company contract log, repository, renewal calendar and related docs.
• Maintain standard agreements, NDAs and partner agreements with external counsel.
• Perform first-line review of customer, partner and vendor agreements; coordinate redlines and approvals.
• Escalate material terms to leadership and outside counsel per policies.
• Manage contract signature workflow and ensure executed records.
• Coordinate legal requests and interface with external counsel.
• Train to assume export compliance program responsibilities and BIS processes.
• Manage BIS/export compliance processes with external specialists as needed.
• Develop AWS/Azure administration knowledge including agreements and renewals.
• Maintain corporate records, data-room readiness and support strategic transactions.
• Coordinate vendor contract administration and certificates of insurance.
• Document processes and calendars to reduce key-person dependency.
• Take ownership of cross-functional business operations as the company grows.
