Job summary

HealthTrust Performance Group is seeking a Senior Manager Contracts to negotiate national surgical portfolio agreements, manage a $100M–$200M spend, and lead strategic sourcing from development through contract implementation.

You will develop contracting strategies, negotiate terms, and present recommendations to stakeholders, while building cross-functional relationships to drive value and mitigate risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Healthcare Administration or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, contract management, or supply chain operations.
• Experience negotiating contracts in nursing or surgical categories preferred.
• Healthcare industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing activities including market analysis, RFI/RFP management, supplier negotiations, contract awards, and implementation.
• Develop and execute contracting strategies that maximize value, mitigate risk, and align with member needs.
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms, including risk mitigation, performance requirements, and commercial protections.
• Present sourcing strategies and award recommendations to internal stakeholders and member advisory boards.
• Build relationships with suppliers, customers, and cross-functional partners to drive successful outcomes.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting financial, operational, and timeline objectives.
• Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and category dynamics to support sourcing strategies.
