Job summary

HealthTrust, part of HCA Healthcare, Nashville, TN, seeks an experienced Senior Director Contracts to negotiate national capital sourcing agreements and lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives. You will guide strategy, manage complex negotiations, and collaborate with clinicians, executives, and stakeholders to drive value and risk management.

Expect a high-impact role with oversight of contract strategy, performance analysis, and governance presentations within a large healthcare network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required (Supply Chain, Healthcare, Business, Finance).
• 7+ years of relevant work experience with experience in strategic sourcing and negotiating a variety of contracts in the Capital Sourcing.
• Healthcare experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex sourcing and contracting initiatives from strategy development through contract execution and implementation.
• Independently manage multiple high-priority projects, timelines, and negotiations while consistently delivering results on schedule.
• Serve as a subject matter expert within assigned categories, maintaining deep knowledge of products, suppliers, market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments.
• Develop and execute innovative contracting and negotiation strategies that optimize value, mitigate risk, and align with organizational objectives.
• Analyze supplier performance, financial reports, market intelligence, product pipelines, and competitive landscapes to drive informed sourcing decisions.
• Lead complex corporate and master agreement negotiations with suppliers across multiple business units.
• Partner with clinicians, physicians, executives, and customer stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies that meet customer needs and organizational goals.
• Present sourcing strategies, recommendations, and award decisions to executive leadership, advisory boards, and other governance groups.
